Future Variations (V) is a collaborative intermedia performance exploring and expanding upon Variations V (1965), which radically combined film, dance, animation, and sound into a sensorial and durational experience; it was a collaboration between Merce Cunningham, Cage, Paik, and the filmmaker Vanderbeek. This was a showing of the in-progress staging of Future Variations (V).
